Our aims at St Michael’s Youth Church are for children:
To grow to know the Lord Jesus as their friend and Saviour through his word
To be encouraged to talk about the Lord Jesus with their families and friends
YOUTH CHURCH
Followers, Explorers, Adventurers and Next all meet in Church House during the morning service. The groups start off together with a short time of singing, Bible teaching and prayer. Children can contribute to the collection if they wish and the money is used to support a number of Christian charities including the sponsorship of a child in Kenya.
The children then go to their groups for Bible teaching and other activities appropriate for their age. At the end of the morning the children are brought up to church by their group leaders. On the third Sunday of the month this will usually be in time for children to go up for a blessing when their parents receive Communion.
